Moisture (hot oven)
Inline Moisture Measurement calculate the overall moisture in mainly extruded food and feed products. The moisture is measured using the hot-oven principle, which is based on the loss-of-weight concept. A ground sample is placed on a load plate and heated with a heating bulb to evaporate all moisture.
Once all moisture has evaporated, it is possible to determine the overall moisture. Using the measurement system, the producer gets full control of the production and maintain a consistent product quality.
